Weekend Highlights
The weekend was great! This week has been a little busy so I’m just getting to posting my highlights, but here we go:
On Friday night we threw a surprise party for Holly, Blake’s fiance who just moved to town. The party was super fun: everyone brought either socks or chocolates (her two favorite things) for Holly and everyone wore fun socks to the party. Holly was super surprised and fit right in with her lime green knee socks that she already happened to have on under her boots.

Another highlight actually happened last Wednesday night, but I knew I had to add these pictures to my weekend highlights. A small group of friends and I went out sailing with our friend Austin last week. We watched the sunset, enjoyed some wine and cheese and great conversation and good laughs.
It was amazing to see the stars come out and the moon rise over the horizon. Such a memorable night and the highlight of my week, for sure!
Other highlights of the week:
-hanging out with the sisters at the sock party and again on Sunday night
-Sunday evening bonfire and dinner with friends. I’m not quite ready to let summer go but if I have to trade pool days with bonfire nights I think I’ll be okay…
