I really like games. It’s rare to get together for an evening of playing games, but whenever I do I love it! I think you get to know a different side of people when you play certain games: how competitive are they? How well do they think on their feet? Why do they shout out the crazy things they do while giving clues?

Some of my all-time favorite games are Catch Phrase and Wits and Wagers.

If you’ve never played Wits and Wagers you need to - it’s a combination of trivia and gambling. Trust me: it’s super fun.

Another really fun game we just played the other night is Ticket to Ride.

It takes strategy and some luck to do well in this game; I got absolutely dominated by everyone else but I’m pretty sure that now that I have played I’ll do much better next time. Yes, I might be one of those people I’m talking about who gets a bit competitive when I’m playing games, but it’s really all in good fun.
