Happy birthday, Leah! The family and a couple of good friends got together at Jess and Joel’s place last night to celebrate Leah’s birthday. Jess made incredible chocolate cupcakes with chocolate icing (all homemade!) and we all had a great time.

Other highlights:

-getting a round of applause when my friends and I exited our cab to go out downtown in full costume. We were Indiana Jones, Ron Burgundy, a treasure troll, a German nerd, and Black Swan. Such a fun evening! Thanks, Holly, for making my makeup look exactly like Black Swan!

-dancing around Blake’s apartment with Jack and Holly. All of us were still dressed as a treasure troll, Indiana Jones, and Black Swan, of course! Makes dancing so much better.

-meeting up with Liz and friends all dressed up as well. I love the Mr. Potato Head costume, Liz!
