Weekend Highlights
My good friends Chris and Shamane got engaged on a cruise last week, so Chris’ family decided to throw a surprise “welcome to the family” party for Sharmane. It was such a fantastic engagement party. Everyone got to hear the proposal story firsthand (which, by the way, sounded like it was in the most amazing natural setting! It is hard to top getting engaged on a tropical island!) and then Chris’ dad made a sweet toast to the couple.
It has been so good knowing this couple from the beginning of their relationship. So happy for you guys!
Other highlights:
-Saturday early morning walk for hydrocephalus. It’s fun waking up super early if it’s for a good cause!
-Georgetown shopping and eating crepes at Snap. (I’ve said for a long time that Greenville needs two things: a music venue the size of either The Tabernacle in Atlanta or the 9:30 Club in D.C., and a crepes place. Nutella crepes are the best!)
-Friday morning photo shoot with Holly. I woke up and packed for my trip, but on my way out of town I grabbed a few headshots for Holly. I’m not posting the one she’s gonna use, but here is another favorite from the morning. Nothing more fun than grabbing coffee in the morning and heading out for photos!
