Weekend Highlights
One of the highlights of the weekend was Sunday night’s “lessons and carols” service followed by a great little Christmas party at the house where Meg, Tara-Leigh, Marlena, and Emily live. The house is adorable and perfect for hosting get-togethers, and I think over a hundred people actually showed up!
Ah, I love Christmas!
Another highlight of the weekend was photographing Angie, Craig, and Michael-Angelo - it was the first time the baby had photos taken, and he was so adorable!
On Saturday morning, my sister threw a fantastic baby shower for my friend Rachel, who has been one of my best friends since high school. One of my favorite dishes we made were mini-grilled cheese on top of a shot glass of homemade tomato soup - what a great idea!
The decor was absolutely gorgeous. Anna and her friends did a great job (thanks to a little help from Pinterest!).

Other highlights:
-Saturday night was spent listening to my friend Heather, who is an amazing violinist, play music with her incredible band at Nose Dive. They played covers from Adele, Oasis, Rufus Wainwright, and so many more great bands. Met a ton of new people and just had a really fun night!
-Went to my first Christmas party of the season on Friday night at my sister Leah’s place. She knows how to throw a fun party and has the perfect spot to throw one. Jessica, Cate, Leah, and Alice were all there so we almost had the entire sister crew!
