Weekend Highlights
My friend Kelly put together a double birthday party for Meg and Lauren on Saturday night at Larkin’s. The highlight of the night may have been watching Meg and Lauren both trying to blow out their trick candles on their birthday cakes. :)
The food at Larkin’s is excellent, by the way! I had never really had dinner there (at least not in the last five years).
Lauren and Bennett just got engaged on new years! Such a happy couple!
After Larkin’s, I went over to Chicora to see our friends The Bent Strings play. They were so good, playing favorites from the Strokes and Kings of Leon as well as original songs. The crowd was super into the music and it was really a fun time!
Sunday, a few of us met for lunch at Chicora (again!). Oh, man, they do have such good food! Aileen, Jack, Brady, Cate, and I met and it will be my last meal with Cate before she leaves for Spain on Tuesday. I’m going to miss my sister so much…she’s such a bright light here in Greenville.

-studying like crazy already for school, but the subjects are super-fascinating
-late-night pizza with Vanessa, Lucas, and Cecilia
-early, early morning pancakes on Saturday with Bethany, Holly, and Meg. These girls are so awesome! Thanks for the pancakes, Bethany!
